It all started with a love of dishes….
A few years ago, my beautiful daughter married the man of her dreams. As we envisioned the perfect day, we agreed that including antique china and glassware would make the occasion truly exceptional. Our shared love of fine dishes inspired us to embark on an adventure to curate 250 pieces of china and glassware. For six months, I scoured thrift stores in La Crosse, Madison, Minneapolis, and Eau Claire, while also mastering the art of finding treasures on Facebook Marketplace.
In the end, my collection grew well beyond 250 pieces— to over 500 pieces! What started as a quest for plates and glasses expanded to include serving pieces, pitchers, vases, candle holders, and any other item that could contribute to a beautiful tablescape. In that time, I discovered a newfound passion for collecting vintage pieces that radiated elegance and character.
After the wedding, I realized I had the perfect foundation for something more. I decided to transform this passion into a business, offering these one-of-a-kind pieces for others to enjoy. Each item in my collection is unique, adding a distinct element of sophistication and charm to any event. I never tire of seeing these exquisite pieces come to life again, and I’m thrilled to share them with those who also appreciate the beauty of timeless treasures.
There is a unique beauty in using dishes that have been bringing families and loved ones together for generations. Each piece carries with it a history of shared meals, laughter, and connection. The love, community, and tradition woven into these items only serve to enhance the magic and warmth of the day, making each gathering feel even more special.
